One of four watercolour sketches all composed in East Norfolk locations during August 1919. Most unusually for MP, all their locations are given (this one is ‘Horsey Levels’ with Horsey Windpump clearly visible) and precisely dated (Aug. 7th 1919).
27 x 24 cm, this sketch is very slightly marred by a dark “ink spot” in the sky to the right of the windpump. It could easily be mounted and framed, and is offered for sale at £150.
