Phillis Clarke née Riddle was Marietta’s companion from about 1925 until her death in Cyprus in 1955.
She was the author of Four Stories (see Bibliography & Books for Sale), and three of her woodcuts are featured in the ‘Miscellaneous Paintings’ section.
She was reinterred on the Eagle Island on Long Gore Marsh in 1959.
